Chief of Staff (all genders) for AI Audit Tech Startup

We are a fast-growing AI company working with leading financial audit firms across Germany and beyond. As we scale, we need someone who deeply understands our customers — the world of financial audit firms — and who can sit at the center of the company, connect our teams, and turn strategy into execution. That is the role of our Chief of Staff. Tasks Act as a right hand to the CEO , driving cross-functional priorities and making sure decisions turn into results Take over and coordinate operational workstreams across our Professional Practice and Business Development Team Own key account relationships , ensuring their needs are understood, prioritised and delivered Prepare decision-ready analyses , board and leadership materials , and follow through on action items Identify gaps between teams and build the processes , rituals and structures that close them Bring audit and professional practice rigour to how we structure customer engagements and internal operations Represent the leadership team internally and externally, in both German and English Take on special projects end-to-end as the company scales Requirements Must-have: At least three years in financial audit with a strong grasp of professional-practice standards and workflows Native or fluent German (C1+) and confident business English (C1+) — both are essential, as German is required for our customers and English is our company language Tech affinity and an entrepreneurial mindset — genuine excitement about taking dnl to the next level Excellent project management and prioritisation skills across multiple stakeholders Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with a hands-on, pragmatic, high-ownership approach Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders and customers Nice-to-have: Experience in a startup or high-velocity environment , comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities Exposure to product marketing , account management or commercial operations Experience working with or building AI-driven applications People or team leadership experience Benefits A central role working directly with leadership at a category-defining B2B AI product Broad exposure across product, commercial and professional-practice functions — an ideal platform for future leadership A fast-paced, ambitious and low-ego environment Competitive compensation and participation in the company's success through virtual shares Ownership from day one , flat hierarchies, short decision paths Join us and help shape how one of Europe's leading audit tech companies scales.
