Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
The Internal Identity Team’s mission is to protect Stripe by providing primitives that enable secure user access at Stripe. The infrastructure and tooling we build enables Stripe to enforce strong authentication and authorization controls, while providing a seamless user experience for Stripes to do their best work.
At its core, our team is both an infrastructure team and a security team (Security Infrastructure). We build the platforms and tools that enable system and resource owners to implement core authentication and authorization primitives in their own services, and act as security practitioners who collaborate directly with stakeholders within Stripe to socialize security best practices. Our platform represents critical infrastructure with high reliability requirements, demanding excellence in site reliability engineering practices to deliver performant, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
