  • Your natural ability to inspire and develop people makes you an excellent coach for building a high-performing lifecycle marketing team.
  • You excel at fostering collaboration and trust across multiple teams, which is critical for this cross-functional role.
  • Your empathetic understanding of customer perspectives helps craft engaging lifecycle programs that drive retention and loyalty.
  • You may find the relentless focus on data, automation, and experimentation less energizing than the people-focused aspects.
  • Directly owning revenue outcomes and making tough prioritization decisions can conflict with your desire to please everyone.

Role Description

As the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, you will own Dropbox’s lifecycle marketing strategy across onboarding, engagement, retention, monetization, expansion, cross-sell, and re-engagement. You will lead a team of lifecycle marketers and build a portfolio of programs that help customers discover value, expand their use of Dropbox, and deepen their relationship with our products over time.

This is a senior people leadership role with direct accountability for business outcomes. You will set the lifecycle strategy and roadmap, determine where the team should invest, establish how programs are prioritized and measured, and stay close enough to the work to raise the quality of execution and unblock the highest-priority initiatives.

You will work closely with Product Growth, Product, Product Marketing, Data Science, Marketing Operations, and other marketing teams. Lifecycle Marketing will own customer communication strategy, channel planning, lifecycle program design, and marketing execution.

The opportunity is broader than running an email program. Dropbox has a large global customer base, multiple products, and both product-led and sales-assisted customer motions. The Head of Lifecycle Marketing will define how those pieces connect across the customer lifecycle and build the operating model needed to move from individual campaigns toward scalable growth programs.
