Staff Product Designer, Marketplace Product

Information about the position 

Vinted is Europe's largest secondhand fashion platform. The Marketplace team owns the core experience: how people discover, list, buy, and sell.

We're hiring a Staff Product Designer to raise the design bar and bring strategic clarity to some of the most complex problems in the product. You'll join the Marketplace product design leadership team and be part of the craft leadership group, alongside a fellow Staff Product Designer, Staff Design Technologist, and Senior Product Designers from across domains.

In this position, you’ll 

• Be accountable for projects that land measurable impact. You define what the right work is. You don't wait for it to be scoped for you.
• Raise the capability of ICs in your area. You make this happen through pair work, critique, and direct coaching. 
• Help other functions start thinking like designers. As a result of your impact, PMs and engineers actively reference design principles in their own decisions. You earn this through osmosis, not training decks.
• Drive how design standards evolve. You own the bar and raise it as the business, tech, and user context changes.
• Make AI-powered ways of working real for the team. You experiment, systematise, and communicate. You also reason clearly about what AI changes for users, not just for internal workflows.
• Turn ambiguous signals into investable opportunities. You are expected to build the case and move senior stakeholders to commit, not just surface options.
• Produce work that is above the current team bar. Others calibrate to it.
• Earn the trust of senior leaders. You’ll do this through sound judgment, clear narratives, and the confidence to help them make big bets on design.

About you 

• Strong proven experience (typically 10+ years) of product design for consumer-scale digital products. Marketplace experience is a strong plus.
• A portfolio that shows taste, judgment, and shipped impact.
• You move work forward without being asked. You're as comfortable doing as directing.
• Hands-on with AI in your actual workflow: design, prototyping, and automation. You use it, not just discuss it.
• Sharp eye for quality. You know when the last 1% matters and when it doesn't.
• Steady when the work gets slow, contested, or unglamorous.
• Comfortable with ambiguity. You know when to go deep and when to ship.
• A strong point of view and the ability to adjust it.
• You've changed how an organisation works, not just what it shipped.

Workation policy

Better balance holidays with workdays by working remotely! Up to 90 days per year in the EU, of these, 21 days can be spent globally. For non-EU citizens, it's 21 days worldwide. This can be combined with time off for vacation or personal time.

Individual learning budget

Each year, you’ll be given a learning budget (starting at €3,000), and a total of up to 10 working days over a 2-year period to support your personal and professional development.
