  • Your natural ability to inspire and develop people makes you an effective leader for the Japan Marketing team.
  • You excel at building strong partnerships and aligning diverse stakeholders around a common vision.
  • You are skilled at communicating across cultures, which is essential for coordinating multiple APJ markets.
  • You may hesitate to make tough, unpopular decisions when cutting programs or reallocating resources.
  • The focus on data and pipeline metrics might feel less natural than your people-first approach.

Role Description

As Senior Manager, APJ Field & Channel Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of Dropbox’s regional marketing strategy across the entire Asia-Pacific and Japan region. You will bring the greatest depth of focus to Dropbox’s Tier 1 markets—Australia/New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, India, and Japan—while building fit-for-market programs for Tier 2 markets including Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will work in close partnership with the Regional VP of Sales to translate business priorities into integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that create pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and support regional sales growth.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role at the intersection of field marketing, channel marketing, sales, and Dropbox’s global marketing organization. Field and channel marketing will be equally important as Dropbox evolves toward a hybrid go-to-market model in ANZ and adapts its approach across APJ. You will build the regional marketing plan, manage the regional budget, and measure performance against clear business outcomes. You will also manage and develop our Japan Marketing team, ensuring our regional approach combines consistent strategy and operating discipline with strong local-market relevance.

You will be Dropbox Marketing’s senior voice in the region—bringing APJ customer, partner, and market insights into global planning while adapting global campaigns for local audiences. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, commercially minded leader who can move comfortably between executive-level strategy, people leadership, and hands-on campaign execution.
