Your contribution: You’ll develop and optimize software for modern controller platforms, variable-frequency drives, and servo drives. With your expertise in real-time communication, embedded systems, and industrial networks, you’ll lay the foundation for high-performance, reliable, and future-proof automation solutions. Help shape the next generation of intelligent IoT solutions by developing innovative software for open communication protocols and TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) technologies on new and existing embedded platforms Bring together various technologies by integrating, validating, and continuously optimizing third-party software components and modern communication stacks Work in a modern, agile development environment based on model-driven methods, which gives you the opportunity to help shape holistic solutions that go beyond individual embedded platforms Take on responsibility as part of a dedicated, agile team and actively contribute to the development of high-performance, reliable, and high-quality software products Benefit from collaborating in interdisciplinary and international teams, exchange ideas with experts from a wide range of disciplines, and help shape innovative technologies in a global environment Per sonal and professional development : Grow in a technologically leading environment, build connections, and help drive innovation across a wide variety of industries Your profile A successfully completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications and information technology , or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in hardware-oriented embedded software development using C/C++ under real-time operating systems (RTOS), as well as in-depth knowledge of Python and Git-based development environments In-depth knowledge of Ethernet-based communication protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, and PTP; ideally supplemented by experience with industry standards such as IEEE 1588, TSN, and X.509 Knowledge of C#, SQL, GoogleTest, and Jenkins, as well as experience with Azure DevOps/Pipelines, Visual Studio Code, or modern CI/CD processes, is a plus Strong conceptual and analytical skills , as well as the ability to communicate complex technical issues to various stakeholders in a way that is tailored to their needs, understandable, and practical Business-level proficiency in German and very good English skills What are your benefits?
