- Your natural leadership and strategic vision make you ideal for serving as a key point of contact for investors and a partner to the CEO in shaping Hexa's future.
- Your decisiveness and drive directly match the need to structure deals, negotiate term sheets, and push deals to closure in the Scale program.
- You are comfortable in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment and taking full ownership of the financing strategy without waiting for guidance.
- Your ability to manage a team and command respect in boardrooms aligns with the governance and team management responsibilities.
- Your direct, results-oriented communication style may clash with the need for diplomatic influence when designing incentive mechanisms or navigating cap table politics.
About Hexa Hexa (formerly eFounders) gives entrepreneurs the best chances to build outstanding companies. We're a pioneering, world-leading startup studio born in Europe, with a track record comparable to tier-1 VC funds: 60+ companies created (including 3 unicorns), among them Aircall, Spendesk, Front, Swan and Yousign. We're entering a special chapter. After 15 years building companies from scratch, Hexa is scaling: expanding our Ventures activity across Europe (Hexa Start and Hexa Sprint, taking entrepreneurs from zero to one) and growing Hexa Scale, our PE program that takes majority stakes in existing startups and pushes them to new thresholds. We're hiring a VP FInance and Investments to structure the financing strategy of the holding company and play a central role in Scale's deal-making. It's a StratCo seat internally and a key point of contact for our investors externally, at a moment when the shape of Hexa for the next years is being decided. The Mission You'll be a strategic partner to the CEO and the Hexa Partners, sitting at the intersection of finance and deal-making strategy. You'll drive the financing of the holding company, own the relationship with our shareholders, and bring analytical firepower to Scale's investment decisions (including a seat on the board of several portfolio companies). Think Swiss Army knife: equally at home in a financial model, a deal structuring conversation, an incentive mechanism, or a banking negotiation. What You'll Own I/ Financing & holding strategy Define and execute the financing strategy at the holding level (debt, equity, hybrid instruments) Manage the shareholder relationship: cap table structuring, capital operations, reporting Manage banking relationships and the group's financial partners Steer treasury and capital allocation across the three tracks Build and maintain the group's reference financial models Manage a small team handling Hexa FP&A, operational LP management and regulatory matters II/ Deal-making & investments (Scale) Key contributor to Hexa Scale's investment decisions: due diligence analysis, BP, valuation, modeling Challenge the structure of deals (majority acquisitions, term sheets, governance mechanisms) Design incentive schemes (management packages, carried interest on the investment-team side, leaver provisions) Sit on the board of a few portfolio companies About You You've spent 6-8 years in finance, including at least 3-4 years in investment banking (M&A, leveraged finance) or in an investment fund (investment team / deal team). You're just as comfortable building a financial model as you are structuring a deal, designing incentives, or negotiating with a bank. You're analytical and a fast learner, able to quickly get up to speed on new and heterogeneous topics. You thrive in a fast-paced, low-structure environment. You take full ownership and think strategically, rather than waiting for a playbook. You've spent enough time in the tech and startup ecosystem to know how it works and speak its language. You're bilingual French / English. You're based in Paris. Find more English Speaking Jobs in France on Arbeitnow
