Data Entry Clerk

About the Position

Astrek Careers is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support day-to-day administrative and data management activities. This is a remote position available to candidates who are currently located in the United States.

The successful candidate will be responsible for entering, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining information across company systems and digital records. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, comfortable working with computers, and able to complete repetitive tasks accurately while meeting established deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update information accurately in company databases, spreadsheets, and other digital systems.
• Review submitted information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify missing or incorrect information and make appropriate corrections.
• Organize and maintain electronic records and documents.
• Transfer information between documents, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
• Perform routine administrative and data-related assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Follow established procedures and instructions for data handling.
• Protect confidential company and customer information.
• Communicate with team members when clarification or additional information is required.
• Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Report recurring data issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team member.

Qualifications

• Must currently reside in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, web-based applications, and digital documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written communication skills.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
• Previous data entry or administrative experience is helpful but not required.

Training

Training and role-specific guidance will be provided to help qualified candidates understand the company’s systems, procedures, and responsibilities.

Compensation and Schedule

• $30 per hour
• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday
• Remote work
• United States only
• Training provided

This is a remote position. Employees are expected to maintain a professional and secure workspace, have reliable internet access, and be able to communicate with the team during their scheduled working hours.
