  • You naturally push for scalable, stable backend designs that align perfectly with making systems production-ready.
  • Your focus on efficiency helps in building robust data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
  • You may find the fast-paced startup environment's constant pivoting frustrating if it disrupts your long-term plans.

What You'll Do Own the architecture and design of AI systems from concept to production. Collaborate with a talented cross-functional engineering team across the full stack. Build robust data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently. Deploy and manage software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Make the backend scalable, stable, and performant. Develop scalable, reusable frontend components and API structures. Write clean, maintainable code with well-considered testing strategies (unit and integration). What We're Looking For Required: Proficiency building end-to-end AI-powered web applications using Next.js / React on the frontend and Python on the backend. Strong proficiency with TypeScript in frontend development. Demonstrated product-minded mindset with a track record of shipping complex web applications. Experience designing and implementing scalable RESTful APIs and API structures. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines for processing large-scale unstructured data. Proficiency with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ) and modern CI/CD practices. Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment. Ability to own architecture and design decisions with clear documentation and code quality standards. Hands-on experience building and validating unit and integration testing strategies. No visa sponsorship required — candidates must be authorized to work in Germany. Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with ML/NLP technologies , including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, with production deployments. Experience with ML model serving and inference pipelines in production environments. Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling. Compensation & Benefits Salary: €90,000 – €200,000 annually, depending on experience. Opportunity to have meaningful impact at an early-stage, high-growth company. Location On-site in Munich, Germany. This role does not offer a remote or hybrid option. Visa sponsorship is not available — applicants must already be authorized to work in Germany.
