  • Your meticulous attention to detail and reliability makes you an excellent fit for maintaining the statutory compliance calendar and ensuring obligations are met on time.
  • You are drawn to structure and consistency, which perfectly aligns with the goal of building standardized accounting policies and bridge methodologies across entities.
  • Your methodical approach to process improvement is ideal for designing controls-driven, automated workflows that scale across 27 entities.
  • However, the role involves frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams in different time zones, which may be less comfortable if you prefer clear, independent tasks.
  • Navigating ambiguity in new regulatory requirements and drafting judgment-heavy position papers might challenge your preference for established rules and procedures.

Mission

Databricks is growing at an incredible pace, and our London hub is at the heart of our international expansion. As our international footprint has scaled to 27 entities through a period of rapid growth, we need a technical expert to bring structure, consistency, and automation to how we account for, report on, and stay compliant across them. Reporting to the Director, International Accounting, this is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys bringing order to a fast-evolving environment and getting hands-on with the judgments that matter most.

You will drive consistent application of our group accounting policy across all international entities — owning the local GAAP interpretations, bridge methodologies, and disclosure standards they follow, and ensuring these align with the policy set by our US technical accounting team. You will also own the international compliance framework that keeps the group's filings and obligations on track.
